The Avioned Aerospace aircraft acquisition and teardown division is responsible for purchasing end-of-life narrow-body airframes, including legacy platforms such as the MD80, MD83, MD87, MD90, Boeing 717, and Fokker 50, for the purpose of dismantling them and reusing the parts. This approach is a sustainable one that allows for the reuse of aircraft parts while reducing the need for scrapping. The division handles airframe acquisition and tear-down at specialized locations, acquiring the airframe, gear or APU only, or the complete aircraft together with the engine department. They also acquire airlines’ surplus stock to help them strengthen their balance sheets, reactivate aircraft back to service, offered for sale, with available stock to benefit from any greentime. They also provide consignment project management and teardown at specialized locations or on-site.
